it's the wrong kind of place to be thinking of you.

a living coward is better than a dead hero.

fear is inbuilt, it's natural and it's helped our species survive centuries.
you can't be strong all the time and you can't avoid it.

we're all scared from time to time; whether it's something worthy of being scared of such as, being dared to get into a cage with a tiger, or whether it's something heartbreakingly agonizing as admitting you are in love with someone.

fear, like pain, shouldn't be ignored.
it's a signal, it's a warning.

when you feel fear, your body is warning you that, one; this could be the worst decision of your life, be prepared to get hurt. or two; this could be the best decision of your life, get some nuts and be prepared for bliss.
some people embrace fear; y'know, people who climb rockfaces without harnesses or people who sign up for the army and are stationed in iraq. but some people run away from it constantly, those people who really do earn the title of coward.

i think that you need to have an equal measure of both.
but, you can't always stop yourself from the decision you make; fight or flight response.
so don't beat yourself up, my dear friend.

you can either, face your fear or live with that decision for the rest of your life.

i won't judge you,
whatever choice you make.

love your dear friend,
lydia♥
