sigh.

I hate having no money.

No, that's not true.
What I hate is having money, trying to save it or at least spend it wisely on things that I need, and everybody wants to do this and that. It's really annoying especially as the people who want to do stuff have money. I mean yeah, I have parents that could help me out but I'd rather not owe them money too, plus they buy enough stuff for me already.

Budgetting sucks!

If I'm finding it difficult in college, living with my parents and with a weekend job, what the hell is it going to be like at Uni? It's going to be very, very hard. I'm not looking forward to that aspect of it at all.

And do you know what also sucks? Having a car and not being able to drive it yet. :( It's so expensive these days, or at least in England it is, to drive.

First there's getting the provisional license. You have to pay to get some photos, say £4 for that. Then, you've got to send off the form and pay for the license which is like, £50.

Then you've got to get lessons. Over here, it's about £20 for an hour's lesson. Say you're going to have like, 20 lessons, that's £400.

Then, if you really want to put your new driving skills to good use, you're going to want to get a car. So realistically, for a decent car that can be from £700 to £2500. And if not, you're going to want to be insured on your parent's insurance in order to drive their car. This is definitely cheaper option but it means that you can't build up your own no claims discount and that you have to share with your parents! Not to mention the pressure about driving safely. Sure it's okay if they barely use their car, but if they're driving it to work everyday, when are you going to use it? Plus, you've got to put petrol in it and what if they use the petrol that you put in the car? Not fair! And also, if your parent's car is an ugly 4x4 or a people carrier, you're not gonna wanna drive that!

Anyway, you've got the car and now you've got to insure it. Provisional insurance is hella cheaper than when you've passed, and some insurance companies hook you in with a cheap provisional and then up the price nearly doubled when you pass.

Sucks!

Hopefully soon though, I shall be able to drive.
Because let's face it, public transport is eh.
